Day 01: Arrival and Kabul City Tour

Upon arrival in Kabul, transfer to our Guest House for check-in and freshening up. Spend the afternoon exploring Kabul’s vibrant history and culture. Key attractions include:

  • Kabul Museum: Discover Afghanistan’s rich history through its artifacts.
  • Babur’s Gardens: A serene retreat with beautifully landscaped gardens and Babur Shah’s tomb.
  • Bird Market: A bustling, historic street with bird sellers, artisans, and shops.
  • Darulaman Palace: A magnificent architectural remnant of Afghanistan’s royal past.
  • Chicken Street: Famous for its antique shops and traditional Afghan souvenirs.

Enjoy a traditional Afghan dinner and overnight stay at the Guest House or Hotal.

Day 02: Kabul – Istalif – Kabul

Take a morning drive to Istalif, a picturesque village in the Shomali Plains. Highlights include:

  • Strolling through Istalif’s charming bazaars, renowned for turquoise-glazed pottery.
  • Admiring panoramic views of the Hindu Kush from hillside houses.
  • Dining in local restaurants serving fresh, traditional cuisine.

Return to Kabul in the evening. Overnight stay at the Guest House or Hotal.

Day 03: Kabul – Paghman Gardens – Kabul

Head to Paghman, a favorite weekend retreat for Kabul residents. Explore:

  • Paghman Gardens: A beautiful European-style park featuring a monumental arch inspired by Paris’ Arc de Triomphe.

Day 04: Kabul – Panjshir Valley – Kabul

Day 05: Kabul – Salang Pass – Kabul

Drive into the Hindu Kush Mountains to experience the majestic Salang Pass. Highlights include:

  • Learning about the history of the Salang Tunnel, constructed in the 1960s by the Soviets.

Return to Kabul before nightfall. Overnight at the Guest House or Hotal.

Day 06: Kabul – Qargha Lake – Kabul

Spend a relaxing day at Qargha Lake, a popular recreational destination near Kabul. Activities include:

  • Opting for a boat ride or picnicking by the water.
  • Dining at lakeside cafes offering local specialties.

Return to Kabul for a farewell dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07: Departure from Kabul

After breakfast, enjoy any last-minute sightseeing or shopping, depending on your flight schedule. Transfer to Kabul Airport at least 2 hours before departure for check-in and boarding.
